Chiara Johnson

MSW, LSW, Psychotherapist

I provide psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. My approach is warm and grounded, focused on creating emotional safety and resilience.
Originally from Italy, I earned my Master of Social Work from Metropolitan State University of Denver. My lived experience as an immigrant, single parent, and former military spouse shapes my culturally responsive, systems-informed work. I am especially passionate about supporting veterans and creating an inclusive, affirming space for LGBTQ+ clients.
With over eight years of experience in child welfare, kinship care, and community mental health, I integrate trauma-informed care with evidence-based approaches such as CBT and DBT. I offer both in-person and telehealth services.
